Boreholes are essential for water companies to access deep groundwater reservoirs as part of a strategy for ensuring a secure supply of drinking water. Managing these resources effectively requires advanced technologies, including pumps, sensors, and monitoring equipment, all coordinated through sophisticated control panels.
Wessex Water needed a reliable and efficient control solution to support the operation and pump upgrade at their Deans Farm bore hole, a significant asset in their water supply network.
BW Controls was commissioned to design and build a state-of-the-art control panel tailored to meet Wessex Water’s specific requirements. The control panel, measuring 7.5 meters long and configured in a ‘U’ shape, was designed to maximise site and operator efficiency. This off-site design and build solution highlighted our team’s expertise and commitment to quality.
This is a super example of an off-site design and build solution, in which our project team took enormous pride. By carefully manging all aspects of the project, right through to commissioning we were able to optimise efficiency for this important long-term customer.
Wessex Water benefits from the enhanced efficiency and reliability of the new state-of-the-art control panel, ensuring the optimal operation of the Deans Farm bore hole. Our successful delivery underscores the importance of precision and expertise in developing critical infrastructure.
